A selection of some of our Home Extension Projects

Project: Two Storey Side & Rear Extension 

Location: Goodshaw Close, Blackburn

Our client purchased this property and wanted to extend the property prior to moving in. The house was extension to the side and to the rear of the property. The main entrance was also redesigned to improve space and to enhance the principal elevation. A small bit of resistance from the Local Authority planners was fought off easily with design solutions to mitigate any impact on nearby properties.

Project: Two Storey Side Extension & Balcony

Location: Haslingden Old Road, Knuzden

This existing semi detached property is located in a green belt, so the size of the proposed two storey extension was limited by current planning policy relating to development within the Green belt. A storey extension was formed to enlarge the living space on ground floor and provide an additional bedroom on first floor, a wonderful balcony was also created at the rear. 

Project: Two Storey Split Level Extension

Location: Wycollar Road, Blackburn

The existing bungalow has a partial split level at the rear due to the level difference in the land. An extension was formed to the side and rear with a split level, creating bedroom space within the newly formed roof space and a large family lounge, and in addition a single storey double garage was also formed. 

Project: Two Storey Side Extension

Location: David Lane, Batley

The existing semi detached property was extended on the side and front to form a two storey addition. The additions were faced with matching bricks, and the existing tiled window arched details were duplicated.  Two new bedrooms and a bathroom were created, large kitchen and dining on ground floor. 

Project: Extensions & Internal Remodelling   

Location: Hyrst Garth, Batley

The proposal was to combine the two semi-detached bungalows into one single detached bungalow, remodel the interior and considerably enlarge the property. A rear detached gazebo was also formed which houses a 6 person hot tub. The whole property was extensively rebuilt with a new stone facing.

Project: Two Storey Side & Rear Extension

Location: Lamplands, Batley

This detached property is located in the suburbs of Batley, West Yorkshire. The properties in this estate are unique in that they have flat roofs. The property was extension to the side two storey and also at the rear to form a modern extension to the kitchen. The facade and the interior both were moderised. 

Project:   Triple Detached Garage with Room in Roof

Location: Pit Lane, Dewsbury

The host dwelling is a detached two storey house, adjacent to that was proposed a detached two storey building with spaces for 3 cars, a large utility room, a multi use room above on first floor. The building was faced on the main elevation with the old stone from the old garage building.
